this dinner stuff is empty trash '' tortilla with more black beans, scrambled tofu, daiya shredded cheese '' . 25th year vegan , done all the diets after starting out on the prescribed dry beans n rice 1994 . got totally raw vegan 2007 while also into fasting . have done near 100 fast since from 3 to 30 days . what ive learned during era's of 100% raw and fasting is that when i come off a fast my tongues cleaner , my taste buds cleaner and working better . and time after time ide come off a fast and my usual cooked meal of dry beans-rice-boiledpotato-steamed vegi all tasted like card board , ecspecially during era's when im not using salt . mean while ide come off a fast and eat oranges or bananas / walnuts / avacado / salad etc and they all tasted great to me . it was the raw food lesson = heating plants seriously destroys nutrients . i experienced this lesson tens of times before around 5 years ago i basically quit dry beans , and quit looking to them (tofu/seitan included) for my protein . i got serious about making home made trail mixes and seed n nut butters . they are what i see as proper protein now , and they only . oats not super nutricious but are a good vehichle for adding nut n seed butters to diet . i use blender / foodprocessor to grind goldflax/sesame/sunflower/dryroastedpeanut/walnut/almond/hemp/etc into butters that i stir into oats then add fruit and a shot of pure maple syrup . and when you add say half a cup , im male that does vigorous manual labor so probe consume more than you , of the butter to your oats its a heavy duty rib stickin heavy fuel . i eat trail mix and bananas other fruit too , all day . then giant salad with spinach-romaine-dandelion-entireavacado-brocoli-mushroom-onion-greenpepper-tomato-etc with trail mix for dins . though many times i include baked potatoes with dins , or rice that i stir steamed or broiled vegi into . can make homemade nut n seed milks to drink 24/7 to up heavy fuel levels in blood stream . keep on truckin your on the proper evolutionary path of breaking link in food chain as higher more civilized life forms of the universe do . and being male i dont pay attention to the female stuff but i think i recall at vegan forums less period activity when going vegan , not sure though . but anyway get into seeds , theres bunches and theyve many different mineral make ups that are important to know . for instance the iron in pumpkin and sesame seed . the omega 3 in goldflax . the calcium in sesame . and on n on . also , buy 16oz plastic peanut jars , use peanuts in your trailmix then refill jars with mix so theyre easy to carry in car or to school or where ever where you can 'drink' mix outta jars efficiently / quickly . GO VEGAN OR GO EXTINCT ! good day ! ps - when so called plant based nutritionist recomend dry beans - tofu - seitan as the proper protein source know that they talk NON SENSE ! believe it or not the government and what their colleges teach can be very wrong as is the case in this matter . heres 2 extremely important books by the late raw vegan norman walker that'll get your head in the game . https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/089019033X/ref=ox_sc_act_title_9?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 ////// https://www.amazon.com/Vegetarian-Guide-Diet-Salad/dp/0890190348/ref=pd_bxgy_14_img_2/140-5337366-7873468?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=0890190348&pd_rd_r=5153ca9a-9a69-11e9-a30f-a97368851e97&pd_rd_w=akShi&pd_rd_wg=ROu8u&pf_rd_p=a2006322-0bc0-4db9-a08e-d168c18ce6f0&pf_rd_r=ABQZJ6ZB9E7TDVK6D7A3&psc=1&refRID=ABQZJ6ZB9E7TDVK6D7A3

25 years ago i started on the prescribed dry beans n rice diet . lots of potatoes - oats - steamed vegi-salad-peanuts in shell-and most importantly heavy whole wheat / grain bread with peanut butter , it became what replaced animal foods to me . giving me the heavy dense fuel to burn in gut . i bought a bread machine because its hard to find good heavy whole wheat/multigrain vegan and chemical free so started making own . then i was given norman walker books , the late raw foodist and genius nutritionist and that changed me to a very high raw food diet with lots of nuts/seeds-fruit-very hearty salads with tons of avacado-broccoli-mushroom . notice reveiws . walker makes more sense to me than anybody ive read in 25 years of veganism , cheap book and a quick read : ps - i now eat huge salads - fruit - nuts n seeds - homemade seed n nut rich bakeless granola bars , only cooked food is rice or boiled potatoes . and vegan authority dr michael klaper suggest kelp for its iodine , i drink it powdered in 100% pure frozen orange juice . and golden flax for its omega 3 . any questions just ask as ive been 100% vegan 25 years : https://www.amazon.com/Fresh-Vegetable-Fruit-Juices-Walker/dp/089019033X/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3P7VJRSGIJ50J&keywords=norman+walker+raw+fruit+and+vegetable+juices&qid=1558444120&s=gateway&sprefix=norman+walker+%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-1

raw seeds : sesame - hemp - gold flax (important for omega 3 and taste better than regular flax) - sun flower - walnut are what i find best . then as much raw green stuff as can get from broccoli to spinach , romaine , etc . fruit . see if can get somebody to make you homemade bakeless granola bars based in soaked steel cut oats (soak over nite to soften , more nutricious than steamed and rolled oats) and loaded with seeds and nuts you grind up . then get fruit at camp . the seed n nuts provide the heavy fuel ,proteins n fats , your cells need to burn for vigorous behavior . avoid all processed / canned garbage , like the late great jack lalane said ' if man made it dont eat it ' . im 25th year ethical vegan , read 100s of books and this my fave , though i dont belive in colonics like walker did . cheap book and easy read . imo walker was a genius concerning the workings of the human body . this book was given to me 25 year ago by my neighboor who was in 80s and had just spent like 40 years reading while building a 1000 book library , never watched tv only listened to short wave radio , and this was one of her best . so she culled thru a 1000 books to find it . then i culled thru a few 100 to find out too that walker knew what he was talking about : https://www.amazon.com/Fresh-Vegetable-Fruit-Juices-Walker/dp/089019033X/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2F8KKFDSXBK26&keywords=norman+walker+books&qid=1556984387&s=books&sprefix=norman+walker+%2Csporting%2C143&sr=1-1

grind up seeds such as sesame-hemp-goldenflax-sunflower-etc and nuts to mix into bakeless granola bars based in oats . also make home made seed and nut milks to provide blood with constant flow of healthy fats and proteins 24/7 . here at 25th year veganism doing medium duty manual labor and a medium duty schedule of dumbbell exercises ive also found rich salads with lots of avacado-mushroom-dandelion-spinach-broccoli , and fresh fruit , and boiled potatoes and rice to work best for me . while making sure i dont eat too much cooked and too less raw foods . the level of raw foods has to be over 50% in my experience . most important book ive read on nutrition in 25 years , cheap and a quick read with an extremely important veiwpoint on the workings of our bodys . changed me 20 years ago from a heavy duty cooked food vegan on dry beans-rice-potato-oats-steamed vegi diet with low percentage of raw to a high raw vegan . and in my experience i have found high raw by far the best while having done 100% for up to 1 year : https://www.amazon.com/Fresh-Vegetable-Fruit-Juices-Walker/dp/089019033X/ref=pd_sbs_14_1/140-5337366-7873468?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=089019033X&pd_rd_r=41bab025-7647-11e9-bb1d-335c9152e117&pd_rd_w=rW0Qi&pd_rd_wg=pYEvL&pf_rd_p=588939de-d3f8-42f1-a3d8-d556eae5797d&pf_rd_r=ZQE4QHPVS9YK6Q94YVXA&psc=1&refRID=ZQE4QHPVS9YK6Q94YVXA
