Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia, it's short (less than 200 pages), punchy (lots of fight scenes but never to the detriment of the story, they literally all help to move the story forward) and every chapter ends on a cliffhanger which makes it easy to binge. It's written (deliberately) in somewhat archaic language so that it sounds like something written a hundred years ago, but it wasn't, it came out like a year ago (two years ago maybe? anyway, that ballpark.) Sword and sorcery style fantasy of the orc-slaying variety, set in a highly fantastical version of "England". As far as supernatural there are Orcs, warlocks, wizards, witches and other monsters in this fictional world. The main character doesn't use magic but he's aware of it, he relies on brawn and skill, but he has both enemies and allies who use magic. The fight scenes are all realistic/blood & guts variety fight scenes. It's available both on kindle and in paperback but the kindle version is slightly cheaper in case that makes a difference (there's also one sequel, also less than 200 pages, which I actually like more than the first one in case you want more after finishing it)

Here's some reviews for it that describe it better than I can: https://www.amazon.com/Bjorix-Brave-Tale-Ancient-Mercia/dp/1543089860/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=#customerReviews

Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia. More Orc-slaying goodness than any other book I know, however it's less of war and more of a one badass crusade against evil warlock and (almost) all of the warlock's minions are Orcs. Very realistic blood and guts fiht scenes. It's short (less than 200 pages), punchy (lots of fight scenes but never to the detriment of the story, they literally all help to move the story forward) and every chapter ends on a cliffhanger which makes it easy to binge. Just recommended this elsewhere but Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia is novella length (less than 200 pages) very fast-paced, and every chapter ends on a cliffhanger which makes it easy to binge. It's self contained and not part of a series though it does have one sequel.

Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia, it's action-packed blood and guts fantasy (of the sword and sorcery variety). Lots of Orc-slaying fight scenes, also necromancy and poisons. Very action-packed, and moves at a quick pace, I'd also recommend its sequel which I like slightly more. Zero punches are pulled. You definitely won't forget it.

Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia and its sequel Bjorix The Ghost: A Tale of Ancient Cymru. Both very much like D & D with Berserk levels of fight scenes. Here's some reviews that are better at describing it than I am https://www.amazon.com/Bjorix-Brave-Tale-Ancient-Mercia/dp/1543089860/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=#customerReviews

The character "Ceolwin, Witch of the Woods" in the story Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia, while she's not the title character, she's one of two main characters and she steals the show for the entire central third of the book.

Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia, has everything that you asked for except for sex, which it doesn't depict explicitly but tastefully implies. The romance is between the title character 'Bjorix The Brave' and 'Ceolwin, Witch of the Woods'. The fight scenes are all blood and guts, largely of the broad-sword/Orc-slaying variety. No elves, but Warlocks, witches, Orcs and a variety of other monsters abound. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/34342253-bjorix-the-brave

This book "Bjorix The Brave: A Tale of Ancient Mercia" has the driving force as righting a wrong/uncovering who did it, and is full of action, very much a "page turner" (not quite part of a "series" per se, but it does have a sequel) https://toptalkedbooks.com/amzn/1543089860
