What about a wedding planner book? https://www.amazon.com/Practical-Wedding-Affordable-Meaningful-Celebration/dp/0738215155 I've heard great things about this one.
Could go a little fun/silly and buy her one of those tumblers or mugs that say things like "Bride to Be" or "Does This Ring Make Me Look Engaged" or something.
Could also do one of those coupon books. "This Coupon is good for One (1) Hour of Wedding Planning Assistance" or "This Coupon is good for Fifty (50) Hand-Addressed Envelopes" or stuff like that?

I second the Practical Wedding website. I also recommend the book https://www.amazon.ca/Practical-Wedding-Affordable-Meaningful-Celebration/dp/0738215155
The first advice it gives is to just enjoy being engaged for at least 2 weeks before starting any serious planning.
(The ebook is only 2.99$)

Congratulations! Bask in the engagement glow and enjoy the brainstorming before diving into the planning full force.
I would also read: https://www.amazon.ca/Practical-Wedding-Affordable-Meaningful-Celebration/dp/0738215155
I read this before any planning and it helped so much. Not sure how much it might cross over with the other reading suggestion. If you have a Kobo, the ebook is only 2.99$
Start with the basics- decide your budget. That decision is going to affect every other decision you need to make. Do not count on any contributions from family until they are in your bank account. There are many threads from a couple panicking at needing more money because a promised donation didn't materialize.
I had really good luck with A Practical Wedding book and website for helping levelset expectations and have an idea of where to start on planning. It really helped to decide what we did and didn’t care about at the beginning.
Set a meaningful budget. What can you afford to spend? If you go over in one area, you need to go under in another. A budget is a joke and a waste of time if you don't intend to abide by it.
Do not count on money from anyone else, including parents, until it is in your bank account. If parents offer money, clarify what strings are attached.

I think by far the most important and priority decision is to decide your budget, then commit to planning within it.

Many couples have never planned so much as a dinner party, so a wedding ceremony and reception is a big leap.
