Agreed. I think a lot of people spend beyond their means because they tie their self-esteem to appearing a certain way to others. People need to learn unconditional self-acceptance instead

Their behaviors and goals are definitely lower than your's appear to be, but that doesn't make them beneath you. Rate what people do, not what people are.

That's my opinion and the opinion of this guy.
